One report, more than one number
Bukhari repeats a wording across chapters so the fiqh of each kitab has its witness. Sequential 1 and sequential 6953 are the same niyyah sitting, filed twice.

Book and hadith inside the kitab. Revelation 1:1 is sequential 1. Belief 2:6 is sequential 13 — “none of you believes until he loves…”
