Adam, the first man

آدم عليه السلام

Allah made Adam from clay and breathed life into him. He taught Adam the names of things. The angels bowed when Allah told them to. Iblis refused. He was proud.

Adam and his wife lived in a garden. Iblis whispered to them. They ate from the tree they were told to leave. They were sorry. Allah forgave them, and He sent them to the earth to live, to work, and to remember Him. We are the children of Adam. When we slip, we say sorry too.
