Stories of the Prophets

Idris, Lut, and Shuayb

إدريس ولوط وشعيب

Idris is named twice. Allah raised him to a high place. The Quran does not tell a plot. Later books filled one. We do not.

Lut is Ibrahim’s nephew in the Quran’s map of the same towns. He forbade the crime of his people. They threatened to drive him out. Allah overturned their cities. His wife looked back and was of those who stayed behind. That is all the Quran gives — and it is enough.

Shuayb is the orator of the prophets. He told Madyan to give full measure and not to sit on every path scaring people. They called him weak. An earthquake took them in their homes.

From the Quran

No extra sahih scene in the Nine Books. The Quran is enough here.

Three prophets, almost only in the Quran. Do not borrow a plot from a storyteller.
