The Tarikh walks the thirteen years: the first to believe, the two hijrahs to Abyssinia, the boycott, Taif, the Ansar, the Cave, the arrival. Ibn Ishaq is the main road. Bukhari’s Kitab al-Maghazi and Kitab al-Manaqib confirm the load-bearing hours.

How to weigh this
Lists of the first Muslims vary by a name or two between Ibn Ishaq and others. The fact of Khadijah first, then Ali or Abu Bakr according to the chapter, is a known discussion. Tabari reports the discussion. He does not end it.
