The sixth Sunan
Examine Sunan Ibn Majah
Last of the Six to be counted. A wider net than Nasai: he kept chapters the others missed, and with them more daif. Open four of his reports — the Sunnah opener, a wounded famous line, a purification report also in Muslim, and the golden trunk he shares with Bukhari.
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ابْنُ مَاجَه الْقَزْوِينِي
209–273 AH
Muhammad ibn Yazid of Qazvin. He heard in Iraq, the Hijaz, Sham and Egypt, and died in 273 AH. His Sunan is not a second Bukhari. Later critics still walk each number. Nur loads the whole book, including the Book of the Sunnah (1–266) that the chapter list had missed.

He preserves chapters others left. Useful. Not a grade. Each report still needs its own weighing.
Named grades
This edition stamps later critics (Albani, Arnaut, Zubair Ali Zai). The book itself does not grade by silence the way Bukhari does.
