Signs of the installed

Installed has five signs: fatha, alif, kasra, ya, and dropping the nun.

Fatha is the default: الكتابَ. Alif is the five nouns in nasb: أباك. Kasra is the sound feminine plural: مسلماتٍ. Ya is the dual and the sound masculine plural in nasb: مسلمِينَ. Dropping the nun is those five verb forms after a nasb particle: لن يفعلوا.

اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ — ihdina is a command. al-sirata is the object, installed. You hear the fatha on sirat. That is nasb doing its job.

The object of the verb is the most famous installed chair. It is not the only one. Kana’s predicate and inna’s noun also sit here. Later chapters.
