Uhud and the Confederates
أحد والأحزاب
Year 3. The archers left their post. Hamzah was killed. The Prophet ﷺ was wounded. The Quran scolded, then consoled: do not weaken, do not grieve, you will be uppermost if you believe.
Year 5. The Confederates gathered. The trench was dug on Salman’s counsel. The wind and the unseen armies scattered them. The Quran named the day: O you who believe, remember the blessing of Allah upon you when armies came against you.
