Khadijah and the first light
خديجة والوحي
He ﷺ was called al-Amin. Khadijah bint Khuwaylid hired him, then married him. She was the first to believe. Aishah later said she never envied any woman as she envied Khadijah, though she never saw her.
In the cave of Hira the angel came with Iqra. He ﷺ trembled. Khadijah wrapped him and took him to Waraqah ibn Nawfal, who named the Namus that came to Musa. She ﷺ died three years before the Hijrah, in the Year of Grief, with Abu Talib. The house was never the same.
