Three years private, then the warning from Safa. Abu Lahab said: may you perish. Surah al-Masad answered him. The weak were tortured. The boycott in the valley of Abu Talib starved the house of Hashim. He ﷺ went to Taif and was stoned. He ﷺ would not curse them. He asked that from their children Allah bring forth those who worship Him.
The first Muslims, in the sirah, are Khadijah, then Ali or Abu Bakr according to the chapter, then Zayd. Tabari reports the discussion. He does not end it. The fact of a first circle is enough.
