Tafsir is the explanation of the Quran. The first explanation is the Quran itself, then the words of the Prophet, then the Companions, then the students who sat with them. Later books gather that, and add law, language, and history.

Nur does not paste thirty volumes onto one page. Under each ayah you can open Ibn Kathir, Jalalayn, Maariful Quran, and the others named here. This shelf is the map: who wrote them, why they are trusted, and what they are not.

A tafsir is not a fatwa. If a line of law matters, ask a teacher you trust.
